Horseshit. I was pissed when I found this out. So basically they are saying to the people that already bought the game and give them money every month, "Screw you, give us even MORE money to get back all the features we just took away from you." The processor obviously was upgraded, it uses the new Valhalla MB (no RROD), and the HD is either internal 4GB SSD or (with a drive installed in the proprietary bay) 250GB. The controls are touch controls and they work - and the fan is substantially quieter. The Xbox 360 S also has wireless, though I have mine hardwired as wireless networking is inherently more chatty than hardwired. I stream movies in 1080p without lag, and they look fabulous. The only big con is Xbox Live (and I have Gold, but will complain nevertheless). Why they hell do we have to pay for internet while we already have it? The biggest advantage of the PS3 was largely ignored! The PS3 has a blu-ray - which not only means the ability to play blu-ray movies, but upcoming exclusive blu-ray games (blu-ray disc storage is huge - meaning more content). In contrast, the Xbox 360 S no longer ships with an HD drive (the standard that lost out to Blu-ray) and the plain old DVD player is dated at best. The cost of a separate Blu-Ray drive for entertainment should be considered when purchasing either console.
