Shifting continents for the first time, the game takes place in America between the years 1753 and 1783, so will encompass the American War Of Independence (or American Revolutionary War, if you prefer) and the events that led up to it. We’re particularly looking forward to leaping around the masts of ships at harbour in Boston during the Tea Party.

Assassin’s Creed III stars a new hero, a half-English, half-Native American chap called Connor. Tantalisingly, getting chummy with George Washington will be as much part of the game as slicing and dicing King George III’s soldiers in ma-hoosive battles (it won’t just be the Brits you bash, though).
