Rapelz is a free to play MMO RPG from gPotato who also launched the high profile Allods online
Rappelz is a wonderful game taking place in a medieval world very different to this one.
The game consists of three different classes, Deva: the good guys, Asura: the chaotic guys and Gaia: your average neutral humans. All the classes resemble human like characters.
The game itself is a huge MMORPG with a world map comparable with the size of World Of Warcraft, allthought this world consists of one huge island. Rappelz is still under development with constant updates enabling more dungeons and monsters, as well as quests and items unlike the already established WoW and Guild Wars games who only delivers new material in the buyable expansion packs.
Rappelz is a free game and unlike other free online MMO´s you sign up for a free life-time account, so they will not demand money from you in the future to continue playing. Returning to the game itself, there are as told earlier 3 races. Whithin these races you choose a profession during your visit in the newbie island, you can choose professions, like for example: Warrior, Assasin etc.
Before chosing your professtion, you are given a basic ability tree in witch you develop you character before chosing a profession, enabling a second ability tree focusing on your newly chosen profession. Putting this aside for now i’m really happy with the graphics of the game. The system requirements are not that high but you can still push the graphics to a level that they leave most online games in the smoke.
This game is really beautiful to watch and the animations leave not much to wish for. Unlike for example World Of Warcraft the animations is this game consist of asian animation. The learning curve is also something to give this game credit for as it is really easy in the beginning and rising in a stable curve.
I can’t think of anything this game is bad at, so i strongly recommend that any MMO fan out there save their hard earned cash and open your eyes for this wonderful game.
