So it seems Call of Duty modern warfare 3 is already in BETA, A photo posted by mattador4828 shows an unnamed player participating in the Modern Warfare 3 private beta. According to this unnamed player, the game is being developed by Sledgehammer games and will, obviously, succeed the previous Modern Warfare.

The name of the map the player was playing on is named “Forest.” Forest was originally a map that was going to be made for Call of Duty 4.
