So you have bought a new Macbook pro, 13 or 15 inch, you have installed bootcamp 3.0 and Windows 7, everything works great but when you plug in your earphones, the sound does not work, the sound works fine via the regular speakers but not via earphones.

Well it took me ages to figure this out but I finally found a fix;

Step 1: Go to Control PanelSystem and SecuritySystem then click device manager

Step 4: Download the CirrusAudioVista64.exe.zip drivers here, unzip

Step 5: reboot Windows, then run DPInst.exe, this will install an earlier version of the Macbook pro audio drivers which will fix this issue.
