After the disappointing Halo ODST, Halo Reach is getting excellent reviews from the major publication and big games review websites like for example Eurogamer.net given it a 9/10, Giantbomb giving it a 4/5, 1UP an A+ near perfect, Metacritic review gives it a 92. You can see from the below review sample list.

However the big news seems to be the multi-player which sets a new benchmark for XBox multi-player, the matchmaking in particular is very good, plus the single player campaign hits all the right notes giving ample fan service.

A must buy for XBox 260 owners, Christmas has come early this year it seems.

I can say that while I admire and respect every previous Halo title, Reach is the Halo that I absolutely love.

Halo: Reach is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 console. Reach was released on September 14, 2010.^[1] Originally unveiled at E3 2009, Reach was preceded by a multiplayer beta available to those who purchased Halo 3: ODST, in order to gain player feedback for fixing bugs and making gameplay tweaks.

The game takes place in the year 2552, where humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant on the human colony of Reach weeks prior to the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. Players control Noble 6, a member of an elite supersoldier squad, during the battle for the world of Reach.
