OK so a lot of people are having problems playing BFBC2 Vietnam online multiplayer.

I keep getting the error message “Failed To Connect To EA Online”.

There are a number of solutions floating around here are a few;

For Steam players

Im your steam folder… c:programfiles….. the steam application in your main steam folder, set that to run as admin, AND go to common (steamappscommonBC2) and set BC2 to run as admin as well.

For non Steam users;

try running the BFBC2updater…..APPARENTLY(and foolish me for not knowing this) If you click on the game.exe itself….it literally just launches the game….doesnt check for updates or anything….You have to run the updater manually it seems..

So issue is Fixed…shall update

The real reason seems to be that EA hosted servers suck and are  just slow and a bit rubbish (just like EA)…
