With there being only a little under a month left until Dead Space 2 officially hits store shelves, it was only a matter of time before reviews started to pour in all over the net. The first title was an absolute gem, and Visceral Studios set out to capture the same emotion they delivered on the first and do nothing but improve it.
The Official Xbox Magazine is anything to go by, then Visceral Studios has done just that. With Dead Space 2 dawning the cover for February’s issue of the magazine, the staff at OXM have given the title a 9.5 overall score.

About Dead Space 2
Dead Space 2 is a survival horror game that takes place in 2511, three years after the events of the last game, on a densely populated space station in orbit around Saturn called “The Sprawl”. The mental illness caused by the Marker appears to be permanent and continues to have an effect on the protagonist Isaac Clarke.
The government will continue to have a place in the storyline. The game will begin in a hospital aboard the Sprawl. Players will witness the horror of the Necromorph infection as it begins in the station.
