Blizzard’s Next Gen MMO to be unveiled in BlizzCon 2010
Blizzard’s Next Gen MMO has been in development in the shadows for some years now. Zahrym first confirmed its existance and still is in development. According to some evidence from job listings it will be a Sci-Fi MMO and an additional rumor suggests that it will have the FPS element along with extended social interactions.
Blizzard aims high and wants to hire the best people in order to make the next generation of massively multiplayer online games.
This next-gen mmo starts to get some attention from the media and with BlizzCon 2010 as the next major Blizzard event at the doorstep, rumors started to appear everywhere in the web that there will be an announcement of the mmo.
BlizzCon 2010 was supposed to happen in Las Vegas but due to a marketing error by the convention center Blizzard changed their minds and officially said that it will not happen in Las Vegas. Although BlizzCon 2010 is yet to be officially confirmed, it’s speculated that it will happen like always in Convention Center in Anaheim on August 20 to 21st. BlizzPlanet that made the prediction of BlizzCon date, says: “What better way to go into the end of your fiscal year knocking the wind out of the sails of Bioware and Star Wars: The Old Republic then to announce the MMO that people are going to more than likely flock to in 2-3 years when it finally gets released?”
