If you are trying to download Starcrat 2, or Diablo 1 or 2 or WoW for that matter, with the Blizzard down-loader you may encounter the message “this download is not authorized“, and the torrent client download will end and never to start again.

The following is the FIX

• Always run StarCraft_2_NA_en-US.exe as administrator if you are running Vista or Windows 7
• The installer is timestamped, so if you timeout 12 hours or so after downloading you have to redownload the installer and run a new copy (which will continue the download), there is no way to get around this, dont run the older downloader by mistake this wont work
• Finally if you lose internet connection and receive a new IP address (external) you must download a fresh installer, because the installer is tied to your external IP address.
