Gamesindustry.biz is reporting that Realtime Worlds is “entering administration,” a legal process that essentially allows insolvent companies to continue operating while they try to recover. A third-party company, the Begbies-Traynor Group, will be involved to try to help RTW get back on its feet.

As you may or may not have already read, RTW has recently announced that it has entered into administration. When reading this news, you’ll probably be wondering what effect this will have on you, the players.
Well, the good news is that it doesn’t. APB will continue to run, receive updates and is completely accessible. There will be no disruption to the service.
We”re making the final configuration changes to PTW. The doors will open this afternoon allowing you to jump in and check our best patch yet, 1.4.1! New combat, new matchmaking and new content is just around the corner.
This is bullshit APB will be sold off or closed.
A sad end, I feel sorry for the players who just bought APB which was released just last month, but lets face it, it was really not a good game

The game its self is not in question, the competition caused this game to fail. The game is half decent and had a great idea for an MMO. The competition from other games casued the failure APB. Compaired other games in the same class APB didn’t match up.
